Greek Festival – From Thursday, November 10th to Sunday, November 13, “Be Greek for a Day!” at the 40th Annual Greek Festival at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Daytona Beach, FL. The event is run entirely by volunteers, and is a great way to kick off the holiday season (even without the cold weather). With live dancing, singing, an abundance of vendors, you’re sure to be well entertained. You’ll be even more well fed, with vendors offering a huge variety of homemade Greek food and drinks – everything from Greek Pizza, gyros, fried calamari, and spanakopita to traditional Greek desserts, including baklava. To drink, there will be a great selection of Greek wine and beers, along with other drinks for children. This event allows visitors to experience the tastes, sounds, and sights of Greece for the three days it goes on. “The Greeks call it “kefi”, or a feeling of joy, passion and love for life- a spirit that will be alive this weekend at the 40th annual Greek Festival in Daytona Beach.”
Before heading out to the festival, be sure to enjoy the Aku Tiki’s daily continental breakfast and cookies baked fresh every morning.
